Citrus Butter
Flavored butters are one of the simplest ways to dress up any event and make it feel more gourmet than it is. They are super-easy to make, can be made well ahead of time, and freeze and defrost without affecting taste or texture. I first made this citrus-butter for Father’s Day as an indulgent compliment to grilled shrimp and steak. I’ve never looked back 🙂
Simply zest and juice a variety of citrus, mix with butter, and serve or freeze. It’s an amazing compliment to grilled meat and vegetables of any kind. We most recently made it for our daughter’s citrus-themed 4th birthday party, and it paired beautifully with grilled flank steak, chicken thighs, and shrimp!
